Kori Michelle Simon

Kori Michelle Simon, 22, of Vidor, formerly of Winnie, died Thursday, February 26, 2015. She was born on February 21, 1993, in Beaumont, to Christie Daneen Conner Simon and William Simon, Jr.

Survivors include her parents, Bill and Daneen Simon, of Winnie; brothers, Trey Simon, of Winnie; Joe Simon, of Los Angeles, California; sisters, Mindy Baum and her husband, Eric, of Magnolia and Lacey Davis, of Anahuac; grandmother, Darlene Pierce, of Vidor; boyfriend, Jeremy McCloney, of Nederland; several aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends. Kori will be especially missed by her faithful canine companion, Scooby. She was preceded in death by grandparents, William Simon and Daisy Simon-Wade; uncle, Gerald Levon Cleveland, II.

A gathering of Ms. Simon’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, March 2, 2015, at Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer, Winnie. Her service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 3, 2015, at Cornerstone Church, 3810 Highway 124, Stowell, with interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Winnie.

Kori will be remembered for her sweet smile and compassionate heart. She loved her family and loved children.
