Willie “Mr. Billie” O’Neal, 83,
of Silsbee, died Saturday, February 14, 2015, at Christus St. Elizabeth
Hospital, Beaumont. He was born on June
14, 1931, in Dayton,
to Willie and Jesse B. O’Neal. Mr.
Billie was a retired oilfield worker.
Survivors include his son, James
“Bugger” Freeman and his wife, Cynthia, of Kountze; granddaughters, Tyna
Kirkland and her husband, Kelly, and Jamie Gill and her husband, Burton of
Silsbee; great-grandchildren, Amber Kirkland, Dalton Gill, Dylan Gill, Kody
Kirkland, Carly Gill, and Konner Kirkland.
He is preceded in death by his
parents; and wife, Edna C. O’Neal.
A gathering of Mr. O’Neal’s
family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, February 16,
2015, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery
Road, Silsbee.
His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 17, 2015, at
Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Old Hardin Cemetery, Kountze.
