Clyde Fred Jepson, 86,
of Beaumont, died on Thursday, February 12, 2015, at Harbor Hospice,
Beaumont. He was born on March 5, 1928,
in Minnesota, and had been a long time resident of the area. Clyde proudly
served for twenty-three and half years in the United States Army, in many
roles, including drill sergeant and later, personal aide to Major General
Joseph A. McChristian. After retirement, he continued to serve his country as a
postman with the United States Postal Service.
He is survived by his
wife, Rita Jepson; stepsons, Rickey Demler, of Silsbee; Rodney Demler, and his
wife, Karin, of Germany; and Gregory Demler, of Dallas; and grandchildren, Michael
Demler and Patrick Demler; as well as other beloved family members that span
from Texas to Minnesota.
A private family
committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont under the direction
of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont.
