Barbara Guidry
LeBlanc Laird, 80, of Nederland, died Wednesday, January 28, 2015, at Christus
Dubuis Hospital of Port Arthur. She was born on December 10, 1934, in Esther,
Louisiana, to Vera Campbell and Darcy Guidry. Barbara was a retired beautician.
Survivors include
her son, Michael LeBlanc and his wife, Robin, of Port Neches; grandchildren,
Bryant Block, Jr. and his wife, Carly and Katie Redwine and her husband, Heath;
six great-grandchildren; special friend, Richard Calkins; special nephew, Merle
Allen and his wife, Jeannine; special niece, Virginia Grubbs; and her four
legged companion, Lucy.
She was preceded
in death by her parents; and husbands, Louis LeBlanc and Jack Laird.
Barbara had a giving heart and will be greatly
missed.
A memorial service
for Mrs. Laird will be 6:30 p.m., Monday, February 2, 2015, at Fellowship
Baptist Church, 1315 South 27th Street, Nederland, under the direction of
Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her family committal
was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
