James "Jim" Harvey Bobo

James H. “Jim” Bobo, 72, of
Silsbee, died Friday, January 23, 2015.
He was born on June 30, 1942, in Black
Springs, Arkansas, to
Nettie Alene Diggs Bobo and Newlin Harvey Bobo.
Jim served his country in the United States Air Force and retired from
teaching, welding, and ministering.
Survivors include his wife, Norma
Chance Bobo; daughter, Judy Jolynn Bobo of Silsbee; granddaughter, Jessica Lynn
Davenport and her husband, Bobby, of Burleson; great-granddaughters, Hannah and
Emmy Davenport; sisters, Nadine Hoover and Maxine Wornicka, both of Norman,
Arkansas, and June Bobo of Nederland; nephews, Kent Bobo of Warren and Myrwan
Hoover of Arkansas; and nieces, Rhona Bobo of Port Neches and Mary Ellen Deleon
of Little Rock, Arkansas. He is preceded
in death by his parents; son, Jimmy Bobo; and brother, Floyd Bobo.
A gathering of Mr. Bobo’s family
and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, January 24, 2015,
at Faith Tabernacle Pentecostal
Church, 3345 South Highway
69, Kountze. His funeral service will be
1:00 p.m., Sunday, January 25, 2015, at the church, under the direction of
Broussard’s, Silsbee, with interment to follow at Oak Bluff Cemetery, Port Neches.
In lieu of flowers, memorial
