Vesta Barber Buffo, 96, formerly of Oneonta, New York, passed away
Thursday, January 22, 2015, at The Clairmont, Beaumont. She was born on July
11, 1918, in Bellows Falls, Vermont. Vesta was the adopted daughter of Alice
Stafford Barber and Richard Barber.
Vesta is survived by her son, Dennis Buffo and his wife, Mary, of
Cleveland; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and four
great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Nicholas Buffo; and
sons, Nicholas, Jr. and Richard.
A special thank you is extended to The Clairmont staff for the care
and kindness extended to Mrs. Buffo.
A gathering of Mrs. Buffo’s family and friends will be from 3:00 p.m.
until 5:00 p.m., Sunday, January 25, 2015, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th
Street, Nederland.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s
Foundation, 322 Eighth Avenue, 7th Floor, New York, New York 10001.
