Ola B Jones,
87, of Port Neches, died Friday, January 16, 2015, in Groves. She was born May
9, 1927, to Ruby Elizabeth Jones Tunnell and Carey Tunnell.
Ola was an
avid TV watcher, loved gameshows, Judge Judy, and anything Dallas Cowboys.
She is
survived by her daughter, Gail Holcomb and her husband, Jimmy, of Bridge City;
son, Michael Jones and his wife, Donna, of Baytown; grandchildren, Kim Lona,
Melanie Jones, Chris Jones, and Daniel Jones; five great-grandchildren; and
brother, Mickey Tunnell of Dam B.
Ola was
preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wilmont Jones; and grandson Trace
Holcomb.
A gathering of
Mrs. Jones’ family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., with her funeral
service to follow at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 20, 2015, at Broussard’s, 505
North 12th Street. Her interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial
Park, Port Neches.
