Hildegard Bruce

Hildegard Bruce, 85, of Lumberton, died Wednesday, January 14, 2015.  She was born on April 1, 1929, in Germany, to Anna and Karl Riedl.

Survivors include her daughters, Rosie Nelson and her husband, Tom, of Lumberton and Cindy Westbrook and her husband, Darrel, of Alexandria, Virginia; grandchildren, Sabrina Nelson of Pearland; Brandon Nelson of Borger; Darrel Westbrook, IV and his wife, Kelsey, of Suffolk, Virginia; Blair Westbrook of Alexandria, Virginia; and Sean Westbrook of Denver, Colorado.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Jesse W. Bruce.

Her graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 17, 2015, at Antioch Cemetery, Lovelady, under the direction of Broussard’s, Silsbee.
