Mines A. Girouard, 71, of
Labelle, died Monday, December 29, 2014. He was born July 16, 1943, in New
Iberia, Louisiana, to Mary Louise Arceneaux and David Mines Girouard.
Mines enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a retired painter from Mobil Oil with
twenty-five years of service. Mines previously worked at Burton Shipyard in
Port Arthur.
Mines is survived by his
daughter, Charisse Conley and her husband, Jim, of Labelle; grandsons, Ryan
Latino, Jimmy Conley, and Jared Conley; brothers, Harry Girouard and his wife,
Helen, of Crandell and Jimmy Girouard of Houston; several nieces and nephews;
and a host of other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his
parents.
A family committal for Mr.
Girouard will be held at a later date, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505
North 12th Street, Nederland.
