Dan Edward McBroom, 62, of Kountze, died Saturday, December 27, 2014.  He was born on February 19, 1952, in Beaumont, to Sue Nell Erwin McBroom and Albert Edward McBroom.

Survivors include his sister, Debbie Woodward; brother, Ronald McBroom; father, Edward McBroom; and mother, Sue McBroom, all of Beaumont; daughter, Melissa Ashworth of Nevada; nephew, Cody Woodward; close friends, Benny House, Robert Gillespie, Jaime Capps, Ray Johnson and his son, Samuel Johnson, Eric Bruce, Kenneth Downing, Mike Johnson, and Wade Eason; and numerous other family and friends.

His committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
