Orlando
O. Cardenas, 87, of Lumberton, died Thursday, December 11, 2014, in his home.
He
was born on March 27, 1927, in Cuba, to Yuillerisma Cardenas and Ramonorellanes
Quellas.
Orlando moved to the United States in 1962 and began
working for James J. Flanagan Shipping and PC Pfeiffer the following year. He
retired in 2013 after fifty years of service. He was cared for and considered
family by the entire company.
He is survived by his sister, Olga Moulies, of Miami
Florida, and numerous friends and loved ones who will greatly miss him.
A
funeral service for Mr. Cardenas will be 12:00 pm, Wednesday, December 17, 2014, at
Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont, with interment to follow at
Magnolia Cemetery, Beaumont.
