Timothy Shaun Ruiz

Timothy Shaun Ruiz, 31, of Edinburg, died Tuesday, December 9, 2014, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance.Born in McAllen, Timothy had lived in Edinburg all of his life.  He was a member of Abundant Grace Community Church in Edinburg.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Joseph and Bertha Benoit; and his paternal grandfather, Robert G. Ruiz, Sr. 

Timothy is survived by his parents, Robert and Dujuana Ruiz, Jr. of Edinburg; two brothers, Robert Michael Ruiz of Sulphur, LA and Christopher Ruiz of Fernandina Beach, FL; his paternal grandmother, Lucia Manzano Ruiz of Edinburg; Benoit family and Ruiz family.

Visitation was held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., with a 5:00 p.m. celebration of life, Saturday, December 13, 2014, at Abundant Grace Community Church, 2110 S. McColl Road in Edinburg, and from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday, December 15, 2014, at Broussard's Mortuary, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont.  Funeral service will take place at 4:00 p.m., Monday, December 15, 2014, at St. Anthony's Cathedral Basilica, 700 Jefferson, Beaumont. His committal  will be at Broussard's Crematorium, Beaumont.
