Barbara Cash, 90, of Nederland,
died Thursday, December 4, 2014. A native and lifelong resident of the area,
she was born on March 7, 1924, in Beaumont, to Janie and Aloicious Cayard.
Barbara enjoyed cooking and working in her flower garden. She was a member of
Epsilon Sigma Alpha Women’s Sorority, and was a longtime Pink Lady at
Mid-Jefferson Hospital.
Survivors include her sons, Paul
Cash and Randy Cash both of Nederland; sister, Betty Lee of Groves; and several
nieces, nephews, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband
of fifty-five years, Joe Cash; parents; and two brothers.
A memorial service for Mrs. Cash
will be at 6:00 p.m., Monday, December 8, 2014, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th
Street, Nederland. A family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium.
