Nathan Smith, 78, of Silsbee, died Thursday, November 27,
2014. He was born on September 20, 1936,
to Hattie Dryden Smith and Thomas Eli Smith.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Smith; children, William
Otis Morrow, Kathy Bouse, and Dalton Morrow, and his wife, Carolyn, all of
Silsbee; Mike Morrow of Duncan Oklahoma; Trenia Langton and her husband,
Johnny, of Rosharon; Gwen Watkins and her husband, Lynn, of Fox, Oklahoma;
Cindy Gill and her husband, Bradley and Darla McInnis and her husband, Roland,
all of Silsbee; Teresa Riddick and her husband, Roy of Spurger; Peggy Jackson
of Spring Branch; and Charles Thompson of San Antonio; thirty grandchildren;
forty-two great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and sisters, Bernice
Murray and Geneva Snow. He is preceded
in death by his parents; brother, Tom Smith; sisters, Jewel, Juanita, and
Florine; and grandson, Johnny Nathan Langton.
A gathering of Mr. Smith’s family and friends will be from
5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, November 29, 2014, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road,
Silsbee. His funeral service will be
2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 30, 2014, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow
at Cunningham Cemetery, Silsbee.
