Everette Babe Lee, 82, of Winnie, died Thursday, November
13, 2014, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast
Texas, Beaumont.
He was born on August 20, 1932, in Jonesboro, Louisiana, to Parrie Catherine
Jones Lee and Robert Ernest Lee, and had been a resident of the Winnie area for
over fifty-three years.
Babe had been a Mason and a
member of the Winnie-Stowell Masonic Lodge 1377 for fifty-seven years. He
enjoyed feeding the birds, farming and gardening.
Survivors include his wife,
Anne Lee, of Winnie; sons, Bobby Lee and his wife, Molly, of Winnie; Joe Lee
and his wife, Carmen, of Stowell; and Richard Lee and his wife, Connie, of
Winnie; daughter, Elizabeth Nesmith and her husband, Blake, of Snohomish,
Washington; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Lenore;
brothers, John and Bill; numerous nieces and nephews; and his dog, Pedro.
A gathering of Mr. Lee’s family
and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, November 14, 2014,
at Broussard’s, 134 Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. His funeral service will be 2:00
p.m., Saturday, November 15, 2014, at First Baptist Church of Winnie, 120 West Pear, Winnie, with interment to
follow at Fairview Cemetery, Winnie.
