Christine Ramsey

Christine Ramsey, 89, of Port Arthur, died Tuesday, November 4, 2014, at Cypress Glen Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center, Port Arthur. She was born on August 11, 1925, in Houston, to Eva Marie Wilkerson Capps and William Capps, and had been a longtime resident of the area.

Survivors include her daughters, Marcia Mougia of Nederland and Sherry Holton and her husband, Robert, of Groves; sons, Johnny Ramsey of Vidor and Lex Ramsey and his wife, Patty, of Austin; seven grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren.

A family graveside service for Mrs. Ramsey will be held at a later date, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Ramsey’s memory to Procter Baptist Church, c/o Helen Joynt, Senior Sunday School Class, 4401 Jimmy Johnson Boulevard, Port Arthur, Texas 77642.
