James E. “J.R.” Rutledge, Jr.,
56, of Kountze, died Friday, October 31, 2014.
He was born on June 7, 1958, in Kountze to Bonnie Eddings Rutledge and
James Rutledge, Sr. James was a retired
oilfield supervisor.
Survivors include his wife,
Kathleen; children, Jason Richardson and his wife, Codi, of Kountze; Justin
Rutledge of Lumberton; Christopher Rutledge and his wife, Tracey and Autumn
Goins, both of Louisiana; and Amber Berryhill and her husband, Jeremy, of Katy;
grandchildren, Ashtyn Richardson, Madison Richardson, Jensen Rutledge, Justine
Rutledge, Kason Rutledge, Morgan Rutledge, McKenzie Rutledge, Baileigh Goins,
Harleigh Goins, Presleigh Goins, Ashlyn Berryhill, and Adrianna Berryhill; step
grandchildren, Aubrey, Caleb, and Corey; sister, Penny Clark and her husband,
Rodney, of Orange; and brother, Loyd Rutledge of Beaumont. He is preceded in death by his parents.
A gathering of Mr. Rutledge’s
family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, November 2,
2014, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery
Road, Silsbee.
His funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 3, 2014, at
Broussard’s with burial to follow at Cunningham
Cemetery, Silsbee.
