Helen Ingram, 97, of Beaumont, died Sunday, October 26, 2014. She was born on April 8, 1917, to Emily Rutherford Willis and Marshall Willis, in Longleaf, Louisiana. Helen was an accomplished interior designer, real estate investor, and gourmet cook.
Survivors include her niece, Sue Kendall of Vidor; and Michael Brewer of Newport Beach, California; and many great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her family, she is survived by her longtime friend, Cecil Byers, of Orange.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, George L. Ingram.
A gathering of Mrs. Ingram’s family and friends will begin at 3:00 p.m. with her funeral service to follow at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, November 1, 2014, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont.
