Wayne Ray Bryant, 72, of Beaumont, died Sunday, October 26, 2014, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont. He was born on November 4, 1941, in Greenville, South Carolina, to Irene Jones Bryant and Ray Vandiver Bryant, and had been a longtime resident of the area. He was a retired electrician with IBEW.
Survivors include his wife, Shannon Bryant of Beaumont; sons, Michael Bryant and his wife, Beth, of Carrollton, Ohio and Thomas Bryant and his wife, Linda, of Canton, Ohio; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A gathering of Mr. Bryant’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 28, 2014, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His funeral service will be 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 29, 2014, at Broussard’s. A graveside service for Mr. Bryant will be held at Greenville Memorial Gardens in Greenville, South Carolina at a later date.
