Louise Jessen, 86, of Beaumont, died Wednesday,
October 22, 2014, at Baptist Hospitals, Beaumont. She was born on November 24,
1927, in Hermanville, Mississippi, to Wyland May Mann Robbins and James Allen
Robbins. Louise was a self-employed business owner.
Survivors include Louise’s daughters, Linda Nelson
of Beaumont; Becky Hoge and her husband, Steven, of Beaumont; and Ellen Kuhn
and her husband, Woody, of Eros, Louisiana; brother, George Robbins of Port Acres; sister, Jennie
Rife of Roswell, New Mexico; grandchildren, Karen Flynn, Mark Nelson, Jackie
Stone, Ami Prince, O’Dell Nelson, Stephen Nelson, Melissa Boaz, Seth Nelson,
Eric Hoge, Melanie Cutler, and Petey; twenty-three great-grandchildren; and three
great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband,
Otto George Jessen; daughter, Margaret Bacom; two sisters, and two brothers.
A gathering of Mrs. Jessen’s family and friends will
be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, October 27, 2014, at Broussard’s, 2000
McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday,
October 28, 2014, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Oak Bluff
Cemetery, Port Neches.
