Maxine Trosclair Martin, 89, OF
Beaumont, died Monday, October 20, 2014, at Summer Place Nursing and
Rehabilitation Center, Beaumont. A native and lifetime resident of the area,
she was born on August 31, 1925, in Port Neches, to Dovie Conde and Eusibe
Trosclair. Maxine enjoyed working in her garden, talking on the phone, and
getting dressed up.
Maxine is survived by her
daughter, Wanda Nuber Pircher and her husband, Gary, of Beaumont;
granddaughters, Andrea and her husband, William Pokorney, Jr., of Beaumont and
Tonia and her husband, Charles Hollyfield, Jr., of Humble; and
great-granddaughters, Crystal McClelland of Beaumont and Jamie Hollyfield of
Humble.
She was preceded in death by her
parents, Eusibe and Dovie Trosclair and brother, Karl Trosclair.
A gathering of Ms. Martin’s
family and friends will begin at 9:00 a.m., Thursday, October 23, 2014, at
Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her graveside service
will be at 10:30 a.m., at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, 101 Block Street, Port
Neches.
