Karon Sue Adams, 57,of Silsbee, died Monday, October 13, 2014, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth, Beaumont.  She was born on September 4, 1957, in Yale, Oklahoma, to Gladys Laverne Evans Patchin and Clarence Adelbert Patchin.  Karon was employed with Walmart as an overnight stocker.

Survivors include her sisters, Linda Paine and her husband, Ricky and Betty Austen and her husband, Stan, all of Silsbee; nieces, April Creel, Brooke Whitmire, and Shannon Whitmire; and great-niece, Kaylee Lyle. She is preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Jimmy Roy Patchin.
