JoAnn Cummings LeBlanc, 80, of Beaumont, died Sunday, October 12, 2014. She was born March 26, 1934, to George Cummings and Augusta Holzhauer Cummings in Pekin, Illinois.
She is survived by her sons, Gregory LeBlanc of Houston and Dennis LeBlanc and his wife, Erin, of Gonzales, Louisiana; daughter, Diana Ferguson and her husband, Gregg, of China; grandchildren, Sarah Lene', Derek and Logan Ferguson, and Chelsey LeBlanc; step-grandchildren, Lytonya Kelly, Lance Lene', and Tyler Liles; and step-great-grandchildren, Jasmine, Julia, Joey, Kabriel and Luxton. JoAnn was preceded in death by Alvin J. LeBlanc, Jr, her husband of fifty-six years; and daughter, Judith Ann Lene'.
A special thanks to Linda and everyone at the YaYa house and the staff of Harbor Hospice for their compassion and loving care of JoAnn over the past two years.
A gathering of Mrs. LeBlanc’s family and friends will be from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, October 15, 2014, followed by her funeral service at 2:00 p.m., at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
