Emma Enriquetta Santana, 83, of
Beaumont, died Saturday, October 4, 2014. She was born on January 10, 1931, in
Colima,Texas, to Florencia and Marcos Garza, and had been a longtime resident of
the Beaumont area.
She is survived by her daughters,
Mary Connors of Edmond, Oklahoma; Delianda “Dee” Sikes of Beaumont; Maria E.
Vaughn and her husband, Rudy, of Woodville; and Emma Borut and her husband,
Phil Sr., of Silsbee; sons, Mark Santana and his wife, Diania, of Silsbee;
Jesse Santana and Stacie Zylks, both of Vidor; twelve grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and brothers, Gustavo Garza, Fred
Garza, and Homero Garza.
Emma is preceded in death by her
husband, Francisco C. Santana.
A Rosary for Mrs. Santana will be
recited at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, October 9, 2014, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin
Avenue, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian
Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 10, 2014, at Cristo
Rey Catholic Church, 767 Avenue A, Beaumont, with interment to follow at Forest
Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
