Maudie "Maw Maw" Marie Kibodeaux

Maudie Marie “Maw Maw” Kibodeaux, 86, of China, died
Saturday, September 20, 2014, at The Clairmont in Beaumont. She was born on
June 22, 1928, in Beaumont, to Anna Mae Davis and William Earl Adam, and had
been a lifelong resident of the area.
She is survived by her sons, Earl Kibodeaux, Jr. and
his wife, Jacklyn, of Jacksonville, Florida; and Joe Kibodeaux and his wife,
Gail, of China; sister, Ruby Stevenson of Euless; and brother, Richard Spriggs
of Sulphur, Louisiana; grandchildren, Jeremy Kibodeaux, Brent Kibodeaux, Lewis
Kibodeaux, Sarah Kibodeaux, Phillip Kibodeaux and his wife, Gwendolyn, and
Katlynn Kibodeaux; great-grandchildren, Tytus Kibodeaux, Brandon Williams,
Daniel Williams, Kiyla Kibodeaux, and Allen Kibodeaux; and numerous nieces and
nephews.
Maudie was preceded in death by her parents; her
husband, Earl Kibodeaux, Sr.; five sisters and four brothers.
A gathering of Mrs. Kibodeaux’s family and friends
will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 5:00 p.m.,
Tuesday, September 23, 2014, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. A
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September
24, 2014, at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 245
Highway 90, China with interment to follow at China Cemetery, China.
