Juanita “Nita” Credeur, 68, of Winnie died Saturday, August
30, 2014, at The Arboretum of Winnie. She was born October 20, 1945, in Kaplan,
Louisiana, to Ruby Lormand Roche and E.P. Roche. Nita enjoyed watching old
movies, and listening to music. She received a college degree in her fifties.
Juanita is survived by her son, Brian LeBlanc and his wife,
Lisa, of Winnie; mother, Ruby Roche of Winnie; step-daughters, Sheri Phelps and
her husband, Bubba, of Hankamer; Melanie Credeur and her husband, Scott, and Lisa
Bertrand, all of Winnie; Angie Gandy and her husband, Terry, of Hazelhurst,
Mississippi; sisters, Gloria Owens and her husband, Dale, of Crosby; Theresa
Boudreaux and her husband, Clyde, of Labelle; brother, Floyd Roché and his
wife, Vicky, of Winnie; numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, E.P. Roché;
step-daughter, Kim Sizemore; and godson, Justin Roché.
A gathering of Ms.
Credeur's family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday,
September 3, 2014, with a Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m., at Broussard’s. 134 West
Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00
a.m. Thursday, September 4, 2014, at St. Louis Catholic Church, 315 West
Buccaneer Drive, Winnie, with interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Winnie.
