Lou Verna Viljoin Craigen

Lou Verna Viljoin Craigen, 81, of Fannett, died Saturday, August 30, 2014. She was born on October 2, 1932, in Morse, Louisiana, to Edith Trahan Viljoin and Dauser Viljoin, and had been a resident of the Fannett area for over sixty-four years.

Mrs. Craigen is survived by her husband, Leo Craigen of Fannett; son, Ricky Craigen and his wife, Cheryl, of Hamshire;  daughters, Pat Leleux of Honey Island; Angela Robison and her husband, Duane, of Fannett; sister, Elve Lois Motley and her husband, George of Albany; eleven  grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by parents; son, Dalton Craigen; two brothers, Leford Viljoin and Paul Viljoin; son-in-law, Glenn Leleux.

A gathering of Mrs. Craigen’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 2, 2014, with a Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m., at Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. Her funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 3, 2014, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Winnie.
