Eunice M. Barton, 71, of Winnie,
died Tuesday, August 26, 2014. She was born on March 11, 1943, in Watseka,
Illinois, to Thelma Short Worthey and John F. Worthey, and had been a longtime
resident of the Winnie area.
Mrs. Barton is survived by her
husband of thirty years, Terry Wayne Barton of Winnie; son, Dwayne Donaldson of
Watseka, Illinois; daughter, Deanna Donaldson of Houston; grandchildren, Xavier
Richardson, Dakota Donaldson, and Luke Donaldson; and brother, John Daniel
Worthey and his wife, Jackie of Watseka, Illinois.
She is preceded in death by her
parents; and brother, David Eugene Worthey.
A gathering of Mrs. Barton’s
family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., with her memorial service to follow
at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 30, 2014, at Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer
Drive, Winnie. A family committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium,
Beaumont.
Additional services will include
a gathering beginning at 4:00 p.m., with her memorial service to follow at 6:00
p.m., Friday, September 12, 2014, at Milford Christian Church, 811 East Hickory Street, Milford,
Illinois. The service will be led by Neil Larimore.
The family requests that in lieu
of flowers, donations be made to American Cancer Society, 6301 Richmond Avenue,
Houston, Texas 77057.
