Mildred "Mickey" Bennett

Mildred “Mickey” Bennett, 90, of
Nederland, died Thursday, August 20, 2014, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. She
was born on February 6, 1924, in Port Neches, to Evea Bradshaw and Fred Nugent.
She is survived by her sons,
Lanny Bennett and his wife, Donna and Ronnie Bennett and his wife, Jane, all of
Nederland; daughter, Lynell Gallier of Orangefield; twelve grandchildren;
thirty great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Mildred is preceded in death by
her husband, Raymond Bennett; two sisters; and one grandchild.
A gathering of Mrs. Bennett’s
family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, August 22,
2014, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her funeral
service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 23, 2014, at Broussard’s, with a
interment to follow at 4:00 p.m. at Colmesneil Cemetery, Colmesneil.
