Kay Frances Hughes
November 13, 1939 - August 13, 2014
Kay Hughes, 74, of Winnie, died Wednesday, August 13, 2014,
at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. She was born on November 13, 1939, to Jack
Fayrene McDaniel and Herbert Dabney Asher. Kay was a school teacher for
forty-six years, with over forty years in the Hamshire School District.
She is survived by her husband of fifty-three years, Paul
Hughes, Sr., of Winnie; son, Paul Hughes, Jr. of Springfield, Virginia; and
sister, Leslie J. Bailey and her husband, Tom, of Kirbyville.
A memorial service for Mrs. Hughes will be held at 2:00 p.m.,
on Saturday, August 23, 2014, at Central Baptist Church, 801 South Margaret,
Kirbyville.
