Sharon K. Pickard, 59, of Kountze, died Friday, July 25, 2014. She was born on November 23, 1954, in Beaumont, to Catherine Vishaway Powell and Phillip Wendling.
Survivors include her husband, Keith Pickard; children, Shawna Virva and her husband, John and Brandon Pickard and his wife, Amberly; grandchildren, Dustin Holmes, Brandon Gordon, Jacquelynn Cole, Katelynn Cole, Ashlynn Pickard, Brannon Pickard, all of Kountze; brothers, Paul Keahey of Kountze and Michael Bean and his wife, Sherry, of Colmesneil; and step-sister, Shelia Schoen and her husband, Joey, of Lumberton. She is preceded in death by her parents.
A gathering of Mrs. Pickard’s family and friends will be from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Sunday, July 27, 2014, at Broussard’s, 530 W. Monroe, Kountze. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Her committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
