Reba Warren, 88, of Sour Lake, died Wednesday, July 23, 2014, at Christus Hospital-St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. She was born on January 7, 1926, to Hattie Hawthorn Martin and Jerry M. Martin, in Roganville. Reba married Hob Warren, Jr. in 1942 and settled in Sour Lake.
Survivors include her daughter, Carol Robertson and her husband, Wayne, of Sour Lake; sons, Mike Warren and his wife, Tena, of Sour Lake and James Warren and his wife, Kathryn, of Nome; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband of sixty-two years and parents.
A gathering of Mrs. Warren’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, July 24, 2014, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 25, 2014, at Pine Ridge Baptist Church, 13430 FM 421, Kountze, with her interment to follow at Pine Ridge Cemetery adjacent to the church.
