Lillian
Wright, 68, of Winnie, died Thursday, July 17, 2014. A native of Winnie, she
was born on November 24, 1945, to Odelia Boullion Thibodeaux and Allison
Thibodeaux.
Lillian
enjoyed baking, decorating cakes, and who loved to go shopping. Her greatest love,
though, was spending time with her grandchildren, and other children in the
community.
Survivors include her husband of forty-three years, Sonny Wright of Winnie;
daughters, Allyson Miller of Beaumont; Mia Vayon of Winnie; and Vickie
Blackwell and her husband, Joe, of Orange; stepson, Timmy Wright of Corpus
Christi; grandchildren, Michael and Hailey Thurber; Chelsea and Abby Vayon;
sisters, Eva Marie Craycraft of Bledsoe, Kentucky and Thelma Elizabeth Cain of
Warren.
She
is preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Willard, Walter, Calvin,
Joe, Carold, Theodore, Harold Thibodeaux, Ida DeYoung, and Lillie Nolan.
A gathering
of Mrs. Wright’s family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., with her funeral
service to follow at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 19, 2014, at Broussard’s, 134
West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery,
Winnie.
