Shirley Corbello Frankland, 70,
of Winnie, died Friday, July 4 , 2014 at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont. She was born
December 8, 1943, in Iowa, Louisiana, to Cora Chassion Vidrine and Noah
Vidrine. Shirley had been a resident of the Winnie area since 1970.
Shirley enjoyed fishing,
gardening, and cooking. She especially enjoyed spoiling her grandkids.
Ms. Corbello Frankland is
survived by sons, John Corbello, Jr. and his wife, Rayphaella, of Beaumont;
Chris Corbello and his wife, Christine, of Kountze; daughters, Debra Minnix and
her husband, Jeff; Theresa Sheppard; and Janet Corbello and her husband, Terry
Bertrand, all of Winnie; brothers, Wesley Vidrine of Hackberry, Louisiana;
sisters, Martha Hill of Chloe, Louisiana and Mary Vidrine of Lake Charles,
Louisiana; sixteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her
parents; husbands, J.D. Corbello and Mike Frankland; brothers, Leroy, Clifford,
and Donnie; and sister, Alice Watson.
A gathering of Mrs. Corbello Frankland’s
family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, July 7, 2014,
at Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. Her graveside service will be
11:00 a.m., at Fairview Cemetery, 223 Cemetery Road, Winnie.
