Lillian
Ann Hargraves, 90, of San Antonio, died Tuesday, July 01, 2014. She was born
June 24, 1924, in Saratoga, to Anaise and Frank Alvin Dugas. Lillian had been a
longtime resident of the Stowell-Anahuac area, before moving to San Antonio a
few years ago.
Mrs.
Hargraves is survived by sons, David Hargraves of Double Bayou; Frank Hargraves
and his wife, Lynn, of Kansas; and William L. “Billy” Hargraves and his wife,
Susan, of Bay City; daughters, Cecelia “Cookie” Passeri of San Antonio; Carolyn
Stengler and her husband, Wayne, of
South Carolina; and Beverly Benoit of Liberty ; sister, Thelma Lowe of Nome; special
friend and caregiver, Gene Binkley; twelve grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren;
four great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces; nephews; and friends.
She
was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Vernon Hargraves; daughter,
Beatrice Davis; grandchildren, Marlayna Stengler Johnson; Bubba Davis; and
Marcello Passeri; three sisters; and two brothers.
A gathering of Mrs. Hargraves’ family and friends will
be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with her Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m.,
Friday, July 4, 2014, at Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. Her
funeral service will be 9:00 a.m. Saturday, July 5, 2014, at Broussard’s, with
interment to follow at Landrum Cemetery, Fannett.
