Thomas
“Tom” Jackson, 86, of Beaumont, died Sunday, June 22, 2014, at Baptist
Hospitals of Southeast Texas, Beaumont.
He was born on September 14, 1927, in Groves Point, Michigan,
to Leona Matilda Faust Jackson and Thomas Jackson, Sr. Tom was a United States Navy veteran having
served in World War II and owned and operated Braesoaks Hardware.
Survivors
include his wife, Carolyn Jackson; children, Leslie Farrell of Michigan; Susie
Velichko of Cincinnati, Ohio; Thomas Jackson, III and his wife, Sheri, of Pinkerton,
Mississipi; Toni Groselle of Frisco, Texas; Stephanie Norman and her husband,
William, of Kountze; and Kimberly Bonura
and her husband, Mike, of Vidor; grandchildren, Brittany Densmore, Michael
Groselle, Geoffrey Jackson Groselle, Tiffany Colson, Amanda Buford, Melisa
Riley, William Norman V, Kaitlyn Norman, Paige Farrell, Samantha Jackson,
Melissa Jackson, Paige Jackson, Thomas Jackson IV; four great-grandchildren;
sister, Phyllis Corson of Merritt Island, Florida; and brother, Robert Jackson
and his wife, Janice, of Michigan.
He
is preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, William Jackson and Wilfred
Jackson.
A
gathering of Mr. Jackson’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00
p.m., Tuesday, June 24, 2014, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. His graveside service will be 11:00 a.m.,
Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at Felps
Cemetery, Thicket.
