Juanita Jean Knox, 84, of Kountze, died Saturday, June 14, 2014. She was born on January 14, 1930, in Batesville, Arkansas, to Opal Minard.
Survivors include her daughter, Brenda Wright and her husband, Tom, of Kountze; son, Donnie Knox and his wife, Trish, of Alba; grandchildren, Joel Wright and his wife, Lori , of Beaumont and Jessica Knox of Alba; great-grandchildren, Kathryn and Charlotte Wright; and sister-in-law, Jo Fulbright of New Braunfels. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond Emit Knox; and brother, Billy J. Fulbright.
A gathering of Mrs. Knox’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, June 16, 2014, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at Broussard’s, with interment 2:00 p.m., at Salem Cemetery, Lovelady, Texas.
