Peggy Jo Guidry, 80, of
Nederland, died Friday, June 13, 2014, at The Medical Center of Southeast
Texas, Port Arthur. She was born on June 8, 1934, in Fort Worth, and had been a
lifelong resident of the area.
Peggy is survived by
her son, Rick Guidry and wife, Lois, of Port Neches; grandchildren, Brad Guidry
and wife, Andrea and Taylor Guidry and wife, Miranda, all of Nederland; and
Joel Guidry of Port Neches; great-grandchildren, Evyn Guidry and Austyn Guidry;
and brother, Richard “Dick” Stockton of Nederland.
She is preceded in
death by her husband, Richard “Don” Guidry; and parents, Flossie Florine and
Richard Clifton Stockton.
A gathering of Mrs.
Guidry’s family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Sunday,
June 15, 2014, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her
funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 16, 2014, at Broussard’s, with
interment to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
