Larry James Bergeron

Larry James Bergeron, 67, of Port Neches, died Friday, May 30, 2014.  He was born on August 31, 1946, in Jennings, Louisiana, to Bertha Melancon Bergeron and Antoine “Bye” Bergeron.  Mr. Bergeron served in the United States Air Force and retired as an operator from Mobil Oil.

Mr. Bergeron is survived by his wife of forty-six years, Nelda Bergeron of Port Neches; daughters, Melanie Bergeron and her partner, Misty Berryman, of Austin and Jackie Balsano of Port Neches; grandchildren, Katelynn Balsano and Riggs Bergeron; brother, Leroy Bergeron and his wife, Jo; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service for Mr. Bergeron will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 2, 2014, at Providence Church, 5315 North Twin City Highway, Nederland, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.  A family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium.
