Deana Mattson Rogers,
53, of Port Arthur, died Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont.
She was born on July 30, 1960, in Belton, to Carolyn Forrest and Weldon
Mattson, and had been a resident of Port Arthur for the last ten years.
Deana is survived by
her husband, Mark Rogers of Port Arthur; sons, Mark Jacob Rogers and his fiancée,
Vicki Cordle, of Groves and Jason Rogers and his fiancée, Fallon Casey, of Port
Neches; mother, Carolyn Forrest of Salado; grandchildren, Cami Jay Rogers of
Port Arthur and Logan Rogers of Groves; sister, Sherry Goodwin of Belton; and
brother, Weldon “Butch” Mattson of Salado.
She is preceded in
death by her father; and son, Jared Douglas Rogers.
A gathering of Mrs.
Rogers’ family and friends will be from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Sunday, June
8, 2014, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. A family
committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
