Joshua Dewayne Turpin, 26, of Montgomery and formerly of
Port Bolivar, died Saturday, May 10, 2014. He was born April 26, 1988, to Robin
Barrow and Darrelll Wayne Turpin. He was an assistant manager for Jiffy Lube.
Joshua is survived by father, Darrell Turpin, of Montgomery;
mother, Robin Carpenter, and her husband, Carl, of Groesbeck; son, Remington
Wayne Turpin; special friend, Lynn Raley; and significant other, Megan Raley;
brother, Kyle Carpenter; sisters, Hannah Beth Turpin and Sarah Cathryn Cortez;
grandfather, A.R. (Butch) Barrow; grandmother, Gwendolyn Sue Payne; uncle,
Randall Glen Turpin; numerous cousins; and a host of other family members and
friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Shirley Marie
Barrow and grandfather, Johnny Glen Turpin.
A gathering of Joshua’s family and friends will be from 2:00
p.m. until 5:00 p.m., Saturday, May 17, 2014, at Broussard’s, 134 West
Buccaneer Drive, Winnie.
