Angeline Louise
Holub Kaluza, 92, of Beaumont, died Friday, May 9, 2014, at Summer Place
Nursing and Rehabilitation, Beaumont. A native of Houston, she was born on
November 20, 1921, to Alloisie Kadlubar Holub and John Holub. She was a devoted wife and Mother and very much loved by her
family and friends. Angeline never met a stranger and always greeted everyone
with a smile. She had a sense of humor that would not quit, even as she neared
the end of her physical existence on earth.
Survivors include
her daughters, Patricia Wakefield of Vidor; Kathleen Jo Morris and her husband,
Guy, of Pinewood; and Suzanne Loveless and her husband, Bill, of Lohn; son,
Michael Joseph Kaluza and his wife, Cheryl, of Voca; grandchildren, Laura
Wakefield Howe, Lisa Jo Carson, Amy Louise Moses, Guy Morris V, Drew Morris,
Kirk Morris, Jamie Loveless, Kyle Loveless, Joe Kaluza, and Andrew Kaluza;
eleven great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Weinzel of Waller; sister-in-law,
Estelle Smith of Dallas; and brother-in-law, Jerry Kaluza of Texas City.
She is preceded in
death by her husband, Joseph John Kaluza; son-in-law, Clyde Wakefield; and
brothers, Johnny Holub and Leonard Holub.
A gathering of Mrs.
Kaluza's family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a
Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m., on Monday, May 12, 2014, at Broussard's, 2000
McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated
at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 13, 2014, at St. Anne Catholic Church, 2715 Calder
Avenue, Beaumont, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial
Park, Beaumont.
