Shirley Reid Pratt, 87, of Beaumont, died Wednesday,
May 7, 2014. Shirley was born in Beaumont, on November 28, 1926, to Birchey
Kennedy Reid and Joseph C. Reid, and was a longtime resident of Beaumont.
She is survived by her daughter, Anne Pratt and
numerous cherished friends; and preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Pratt
and son, Hugh Pratt.
A memorial service for Mrs. Pratt will be at 1:00
p.m., Monday, May 12, 2014, at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 680 Calder
Avenue, Beaumont, with a gathering of family and friends to follow the service,
under the direction of Broussard's, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont.
Memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Pratt’s
memory to St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 680 Calder Avenue, Beaumont, Texas
