Charles Teddy Vincent,
78, of Port Arthur, died Monday, May 5, 2014. A native and lifelong resident of
Port Arthur, he was born on November 7, 1935, to Fannie Champagne Vincent and
Gaston Vincent. Charles was a heavy equipment operator with Texaco and retired
after forty-four years of employment.
He is survived by his
daughters, Vicki Jacks and her husband, Brad, of Nederland and Dona Vincent of
Groves; sons, Charles Teddy Vincent and his wife, Darlena, of Port Arthur and
David Vincent and his wife, Charlotte, of Bridge City; brother, Kenneth Vincent
and his wife, Jean, of Bridge City; sisters, Deanna Radke of Beaumont and
Shirley Bobbitt and her husband, W.C., of Port Arthur; ten grandchildren; and
fourteen great-grandchildren.
Charles is preceded in
death by his parents; and his wife, Barbara Vincent.
A gathering of Mr. Vincent’s
family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, May 8,
2014, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. His funeral
service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 9, 2014, at Broussard’s, with interment
to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
