Robert Jack Barker, 78, of Lumberton, died
Wednesday, April 30, 2014. He was born
on October 10, 1935, in Greeley,
Colorado, to Esther Fisher Barker
and William Logan Barker. Mr. Barker
worked as a truck driver and was a member of Woodcrest
United Methodist
Church in Lumberton.
Survivors include his wife, Janet
Marie Anderson; children, Jeff Barker and his wife, Linnette, of Kersey,
Colorado; Karen Himmelreich and her husband, Wayne, of Lumberton; and Larry
Barker and his wife, Marie, of Johnstown, Colorado; eleven grandchildren;
twelve great-grandchildren; and brother, Richard Barker and his wife, Judy, of
Johnstown, Colorado. He is preceded in
death by his parents; daughter, Edith Jeanet Oster; brother, William James
Barker; and sister, Myrtle Elizabeth Dunlap.
His committal was held at
Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
