Era Jewell Crowell Puckett, 78,
of Silsbee, died Wednesday, April 30, 2014.
She was born on July 15, 1935, in Ashley,
Louisiana, to Almeda Pody Crowell
and Warren Oliver Crowell. Mrs. Puckett
retired from Travelers Insurance and worked alongside her husband as he
pastored First Pentecostal Church of Winnie.
After the death of her husband, Mrs. Puckett moved to Silsbee and was a
member of First Pentecostal Church of Silsbee.
Survivors include her
grandchildren, Kristi Trahan and her husband, Paul, of Pasadena; Jonathan
Puckett and his wife, Andrea, of Cincinnati, Ohio; and Kimberly Owens and her
husband, Chad, of Silsbee; great-grandchildren, Daniel Puckett, Aiden Trahan,
and Kai Trahan; special niece, Brenda Frazier and her husband, Ron, of Silsbee;
numerous nieces and nephews; and her husband’s family, the Puckett’s. She is preceded in death by her parents;
husband, Reverend Daniel Arnesse Puckett; son, Daniel Arnesse Puckett, Jr.;
brothers, Onnie Lee Crowell and Glen Crowell; and sisters, Christine Crowell
and Hazel Cooper.

Odyssey Hospice and Silsbee
Convalescent Center
for the loving care they extended to Mrs. Puckett.
A gathering of Mrs. Puckett’s
family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, May 2, 2014,
at First Pentecostal Church, 1403 North 5th Street, Silsbee, under
the direction of Broussard’s, Silsbee.
Her funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 3, 2014, at the
church with interment to follow at Fairview
Cemetery, Winnie.
