Mary Grace Ballew Sharp, 74, of Claiborne County, Tennessee,
died Tuesday, April 29, 2014, in Silsbee.
She was born on November 13, 1939, in Fork Ridge, Tennessee,
to Tennie Carpenter Ballew and P.L. Ballew.
Survivors include her children,
Julia Louise Sharp of Moorehead, Kentucky; Paul Francis Sharp, Jr. of Hammond,
Louisiana; Preston Howard Sharp and his wife, Cristy, of Beaumont, Texas; and
Samuel Carter Sharp and his wife, Jennifer, of Ponchatoula, Louisiana;
grandchildren, Andrienne King of Portland Oregon; Robert King, Jr. and his
wife, Lisa, and Juilan King, all of Nashville, Tennessee; Alexandra Sharp of
New Orleans, Louisiana; Colton Sharp, Shalako Sharp, and Bailey Sharp, all of
Ponchatoula, Louisiana; sisters, Sherry Fuller of Spring, Texas; Carol Lawson
of Tazewell, Tennessee; Retha Bolton of Hixson, Tennessee; and Helen Rogers of
Blairsville, Georgia; brothers, Earl Ballew of Hamilton, Ohio; Roger Ballew of
Bloomfield, Indiana; and Clarence Ballew of Dillsboro, Indiana. She is preceded in death by her parents;
brothers, Wayne, Blayne, Jim, Harvey, Edgar, and Grady Ballew; and sisters,
Gail Massengill and Nellie Foster.
A military graveside service will
be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 10, 2014, at Greenlawn Cemetery,
Pecan Street, Hammond, Louisiana. Cremation arrangements were handled by
Broussard’s, Silsbee.
In lieu of flowers, memorial
contributions may be made to you local Wounded Warrior Project or your local
Hospice Care Facility.
