Bruce Robert “Fox Hunter” Ard,
65, of Silsbee, died Sunday, April 27, 2014.
He was born on October 12, 1948, in Hardin County,
to Mae Crawford Ard and Albert Ard.
Bruce was a truck driver for David Hatton Logging.
Survivors include his wife,
Doretha Ard; sons, John Albert Ard and his wife, Missy; Robert Mitchell Ard;
Claude Ard and his wife, Jesseca; and Joseph “Jo Jo” Ard; grandchildren, Ty
Ard, Dakota Ard, Logan Ard, Aric Ard, Lil Mitch Ard, and Lane Ard. He is preceded in death by his parents; and brothers,
Joe Ard and Tommy Ard.
A gathering of Mr. Ard’s family
and friends will begin at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 29, 2014, at Caney Head
Assembly of God, FM 2937, Silsbee. His
funeral will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 30, 2014, at the church with interment
to follow at Cunningham
Cemetery, Silsbee.
