Katrina
“Kat” Segura Gonzales, 32, of League City, died Saturday, March 29, 2014. She
was born September 28, 1981, in Galveston, to Peggy Lopez Knoblock and Leonard
Segura. Kat had been a longtime resident of Crystal Beach, before moving to
League City.
Survivors
include daughters, Erin Gonzales and Jenna Gonzales, both of Dickinson; sister,
Ashley Nardiello and her husband, Chris, of Houston; mother, Peggy Knoblock and
her fiancé, Ken Gates, of League City; father, Lynn Segura and his wife, Cindy,
of League City; grandmothers, Barbara Hyland of League City and Joyce Segura of
Winnie; uncles, James Lopez of Beaumont; Milton “Corky” Lopez of Galveston; Danny
Segura and his wife, Rena, of Galveston; and Roy Bowen and his wife, Bonnie, of
Dallas; aunts, Cindy Giglio and her husband, Sam, of Beaumont; Shellie Nations
and her husband, Dennis, of Winnie; and Susie Harris and Steve Green, of Manassas,
Virginia; cousins, Ellie, Randi, Nettie, Damian, Dan, and Katie, Amber, Jamie,
Lynn Anthony and Diane, Alexis, Max, Leo, Kenley, Steel, Bayelynn, Blythe, Remie and Rayln; and numerous other relatives and friends.
A
gathering of Ms. Gonzales’ family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00
p.m., with a Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, April 3, 2014, at
Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Friday,
April 4, 2014, at St. Louis Catholic Church, 315 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie,
with interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, 223 Cemetery Road, Winnie.
