Carmen VanLaw

Carmen VanLaw, 73, of Winnie,
died Saturday, March 29, 2014. She was born on February 19, 1941, in Fort
Dodge, Iowa, to Patricia Carmean and Charles Clayton Bowers. Carmen had been a
resident of the Winnie area for eight years.
Survivors include sons, Duane
VanLaw of Winnie and Wesley VanLaw and his wife, Susan, of Marshalltown, Iowa;
daughters, Holly Blayer and her husband, Bob, of Marshalltown, Iowa; Kelly
Reeves of Arcadia, Kansas; and Tracie VanLaw of Winnie; sisters, Karen Racca of
Winnie; Connie Hogelucht, of Dike, Iowa; Carol Kronderger of Oregon; and
brother, Paul Ocheltree of Delmar, California.
A family committal for Ms. VanLaw was held at
Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 134 West
Buccaneer Drive, Winnie.
